The Culture Strategy and Delivery Plan were commissioned by Team London Bridge in July 2017 with the desire to raise the ambition and aspirations of the Culture offer in the area. The work required both strategic and delivery knowledge of producing work in public realm and with traditional venues, with desired knowledge of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs).
Team London Bridge
Team London Bridge are the local Business Improvement District (BID). This not-for-profit organisation is run by the businesses community, for the business community; delivering projects and services funded by BID levy contributions. Working with partners and 300+ business members, our mission is to ensure London Bridge excels as a leading place for global commerce and continues to develop as a pioneering local centre for enterprise, culture and entertainment.
Sherry Dobbin, Independent Consultant
Team London Bridge hired consultant Sherry Dobbin in July 2017 to galvanise the local culture sector and build a cultural identity that emboldens and embodies the many existing attributes of London Bridge.
Now based in London, Sherry has over thirty years’ professional experience working across the international cultural sector, from within arts institutions; arts-civic partnerships (in the UK and US); and within one of the world’s largest BIDs, Times Square Alliance.
London Bridge Culture Group
This group of advisors made up of stakeholders in the area and a selection of Cultural Leaders for London meet twice-yearly to help shape and refine the structure of Culture programme. They also act as ambassadors for generating interest and opportunity from the best being presented in London.
